Les Dames d'Escoffier International Launches Online Fundraising Auction
Empowering Women in the Food, Beverage, and Hospitality Industries
NEW YORK, NY (April 29, 2025) – Les Dames d’Escoffier International (LDEI) is excited to announce its online fundraising auction open to both its esteemed chapter members and the public. Taking place from May 2 to May 23, this highly anticipated event will help advance LDEI’s mission to empower and support women across the food, beverage, and hospitality industries worldwide.
LDEI is a distinguished international organization of women leaders dedicated to fostering a culture of mentorship, education, and philanthropy within their communities. With over 2,800 members in 40 chapters spanning the U.S., Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom, and Italy, LDEI continues to champion the contributions of women in these industries while providing opportunities for professional growth and advancement.
LDEI is extending its fundraising auction beyond its membership and inviting the public to bid on exclusive experiences and items such as a weekend stay at Wente Winery, tickets to Big Sur Food & Wine 2025, Charleston Food & Wine 2026, a week stay in San Miguel de Allende Mexico, high-end kitchenware, curated gift baskets, bespoke online cooking classes from international cookeries, virtual wine tastings and more exceptional offerings from some of the most celebrated names in food, beverage, and hospitality. By opening the auction to a wider audience, LDEI aims to amplify its impact and further its commitment to supporting women professionals through scholarships, grants, and mentorship programs.
